Choose from Automated & Instructor-Facilitated Formats

 

The course is available as a fully automated version, which can be accessed on demand by individuals or service entities. Those who finish the self-study course will receive a certificate of completion from the Midewin Institute and are eligible to apply for one semester hour of undergraduate credit from Minot State University.

 

The course is also available as an online seminar in which participants and a facilitator form an online community to discuss issues related to abuse and neglect prevention. Participants who chose this format complete practicum assignments designed to help them develop comprehensive and effective abuse prevention programs. This format is designed for staff who have supervisory/leadership responsibilities in human service organizations. Those who finish this course will receive a certificate of completion from the Midewin Institute and if eligible  (hold a Bachelors degree or higher) may apply for one semester hour of graduate credit from Minot State University.
