 The North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities
has partnered with Trinity Services, Inc. an internationally recognized
provider of services and supports for people with disabilities in Illinois
and in Nevada, to develop an
online course that focuses on PREVENTION
TECHNIQUES. The course helps participants understand their role in
eliminating or decreasing the likelihood of maltreatment. The course
- gives staff the
tools they need to be successful in difficult situations
- provides
guidelines for creating environments where both those receiving
support and those providing it are safe
and feel respected
